Project Summary
This project digitized, conserved, and created an academic index of ancient Buddhist palm leaf manuscripts preserved at Wat Buranaram in Thailand. The survey identified 92 bundles (574 items / 1,003 fascicles) containing texts primarily written in Khom script in Pali and Pali-Thai languages, dating from the Ayutthaya and early Rattanakosin periods.
